DIODE stands for the now-defunct "Department of Medicine Internet Or Die Endeavor" (the real acronym, "DoMIODE", didn't quite portray manliness nearly as well).
Over a decade ago, at a time when DIODE was at its most marginally relevant, it was believed that one day, DIODE would amount to something ... anything.
Today, for many of us, that dream remains voraciously unpurloined. Strive on!!

Yeah! I'm posting this from the "tour" bus at Kennedy Space Center right now (on the treo) ... the lines here are huge today ... ok time for touristy pics ..
